Hi everyone, Chloe here.
Where on earth has June gone? I've turned around twice and it's the last day of the month again!! I've been slack and haven't done much Rainbow Splendour updating, so here's some pages of mine I've completed lately ...
First up is a page I created for Flourish With A Bling's June challenge ...
You'll see I've used a Rainbow Splendour purple heart clip - it's a perfect addition to a cluster!
The next page I created for the Scrapbook Savvy June CC (see the details HERE)
I've used some Rainbow Splendour feathers ...
...which I have embossed and cut extra little snips in to add some texture.
Thanks for visiting! Hope you have a fantastic week :)

Tutorial time......
This month is all about the tutorial at Rainbow Splendour and today is my turn to share with you a layout I completed over at Show Us Your Stuff, and I love how it turned out. It is one of the quickest mixed media layouts I have ever completed and one of the most effective too.
You will need an Archive ink.
Some shape stamps.
Dylusions or if you dont have them you can use Gelatos or Ecoline ink.
A Plastic Bag
A mister bottle filled with water.
When I stamp I always group objects together and often in odd numbers. You need to use an archive ink so it doesnt run when you use your water and Dylusions.
Once your happy with your stamping, mist a little water in the first circle (step 3).
Undo your bottle and use the misters as a paint brush and drop your colour on the water you misted in step 3. Work in your first colour and dry before you do the next.
Grab your plastic bag and swipe your 3rd colour in a line and get ready to use it as a stamp.
If you want to blend out some of the lines from the plastic bag just lightly mist the bag and stamp over where you stamped before. Now its just a matter of finishing off the layout. Dont forget to add some Rainbow Splendour goodies.
Hope you enjoyed the tutorial, if you do a layout leave a link in the comments and we will come and check it out. Till next time.... have a creative day.

Perfect Feathers
Good morning.... Rikki here with another share and this one is for the people that love to dabble in a little bit of mixed media and to warm you up for my next post which is my tutorial. I loved this paper but didnt want it to be just black and white, so I wanted to add a pop of colour.
One of my new loves from Rainbow Splendour is the Chalkboard Polariod Frames, they complement every layout perfectly and make the hot pink frame pop!!!
Stay tuned for my next post its the tutorial I cant wait to share with you.

Scraplifting a Master.....
Today I though I would share with you a layout I completed over at Scrapbooking Top 50 for there scraplift cyber crop challenge a couple of months ago. It was all about scrap lifting masters and this particular one by;
Sophie Koschmann http://sophiekllc.blogspot.com.au
Was one that I really enjoyed doing as it was a vibrant fun layout and allowed me to show case some beautiful Rainbow Splendour goodies.
RBS Leaves are perfect especially when you team it with the Crystal heart clip.
And you cant go past the new chalkboard Polaroid frame!!!!
So till next share why dont you get creating and if you do some with Rainbow Splendour goodies, leave a comment here or share on our Facebook page so we can see and share some love.

Daddy's little girl
Good morning, how are you all? this month its very exciting as we all get to share with you a tutorial on one of our Rainbow Splendour layouts. How good was Amanda's video? I feel inspired to have a go at a name canvas and I might even let my older children have a go at it also.
Today I thought I would share with you a little layout, sharing a important moment with my daughter with her first ever doll house and there's nothing like daddy keeping a careful eye over the play.
Love the hot pink Rainbow Splendour Polaroid Frames all I have done to extend it was cut it in half and tuck it under the photo to help add to my layers.
To revamp your Rainbow Splendour Bows just pull down the ends of the bow to make it a perfect girly embellishment.
For another finishing touch why not add the New Rainbow Splendour Pretty Pins to your layout with some Rainbow Splendour Butterflies.
I hope this has inspired you and till next time, have a creative day...... Dont forget to stay tuned to see what my tutorial will be.

Feather bundle
LAST post from me this month!
Got inspired this week... and this page resulted.
I started with Rainbow Splendour Polaroids and feathers in white/black and grey.... When I needed to add ONE more colour - yellow was an easy pick! Even a black and white Chevron Pretty Pin made it there!
My favourite tip for you all on this page, is how to make the feather bundle. So EASY to do:
1. Layer 3 feathers of different sizes and colours, and arrange nicely.
2. I put a piece of wire at the back to create a stronger stem.
3. Wind some twine around the base of the feathers and wire.
4. Tie off the end with a bow.
Thanks for looking at my pages here at RAINBOW SPLENDOUR this month. Can't wait to see what other tips and tutorials the other DT girls bring us!

Rainbow Petals + Card-making ....
Hi again,
This month, Chloe sent me some Rainbow Petals.
And I set myself a challenge: one hour to make 4 cards. (gotta work efficiently around here!)
I'm not a confident card-maker, but with some great embellishments, some stamps and ink, and a few easy finishes, I was easily able to make these cards in the time I had.
So there you go - 4 cards in one hour!
Once I decided what direction the Rainbow Petal should face on the card, I was able to design the card and layer embellishments around it. I was super happy at how different all the cards ended up looking!
Tips for these cards:
* Layer green paper leaf and paper rose on your Rainbow Petal.
* Ink the edges of the card, and using the same ink colour for some light stamping on the background.
* Use word stickers for easy labels on your cards.
* Rule lines and crack out your water paints for the quick and easy sun burst effect!
* Strips of Washi Tape are always a winner for quick cards!
Have fun and happy creating this month!

Did you get some of the Pretty Pins?
In the last sale, Chloe made us some gorgeous Pretty Pins. Lots of colours and designs to choose from. I was pleased she saved some for me. :)
I had lots of fun creating this layout..... And of course the Pretty Pin was a perfect addition to my embellishment cluster!
Now if you are interested in HOW i created the background of the layout....
Here's what i used:
Steps:
1. On my white cardstock I used texture paste through a triangle mask.
2. Then I did a layer of Gesso on all of the card stock.
3. Then I used my old watercolour paints, and painted the rainbow background. I used plenty of water, so the colours have a water-washed effect.
4. I cropped the cardstock and stuck down to another sheet of paper - this stopped the warped paper effect.
5. Then finished the layout!
Sometimes taking a bit more time to create your own unique background can be very rewarding!
Thanks for looking today!
