This is another layout that I did for The Scrappery Cyber Crop - Crate Paper challenge. I love this layout, I love that I used a heap of Crate Paper ranges that dont go together, nothing like a mash up to get your creative juices flowing. But once again it need a little something.....

How perfect its this RBS Pretty Pin!!!! Love the wood veneer camera, dont you?

Till next time, have a creative day.

Simple things......

Good morning Rikki here for another Friday post for Rainbow Splendour. I am still contiuing the finishing touches post and sometimes it the simple things and just one perfect embellishment which ties a layout together.

This layout was for The Scrappery Cyber Crop - Selfie challenge. Firstly look I am my photo is on a layout and believe it or not it was my first selfie by myself!!! Arrrghhh!!! This layout was a simple one for me and I love the red tones but I needed a pop of something. The RSB Fabric bow, with the red and white was what the layout needed to finish it off.

Till next time have a creative day.

Black and white......

Good Morning, Rikki here with another share this Friday, hope you are all well. Today I am sharing another layout I recently did for The Scrappery Cyber Crop, remember last week how I was waiting for the perfect touches, this weeks share was the same.

This challenge was to use only black and white with a touch of grey., I must say it was a challenge to only do black and white but I was amazed how many embellishments I had in that colour scheme.

RBS Felt bow and RBS Glitter Polaroid Frame for just a little bling .....

Till next time, have a creative day.

A touch of gold.....

Good Morning, how are you on this fine Friday? Rikki here with another Friday share, and its all about the gold!!! I did a heap of layouts  for The Scrappery crop challenge a couple of months ago but wasn't entirely happy because I felt that all the layouts where missing a little something, but I couldn't put my finger on it.

This in all fairness is what happens to me in my creative process when I do cyber crops, my brain goes to mush because its all about the deadlines...... so this is what I will be sharing over the next month, how I just added a few Rainbow Splendour embellishments to complete the layouts.

I am a big fan of clustering my embellishments, and the RBS Pretty Pin is my go to when trying to finish off a cluster.....

How did you go in the last sale? These RBS Vellum bows went so quick and why wouldn't they? Madly obsessed with the gold dot ones!!!!

Till next week, hope you have a creative day.

SHOW US YOUR STUFF - June

Be inspired this month at Show Us Your Stuff, by this:

A delightful mood board... and REMEMBER - use a handmade element!

Here is my page and close ups - pretty easy to see where my inspiration came from... (thank you rainbow butterfly musical notes!):

I started with some white cardstock, which I GESSO'd. Then I used gelatos and water to create the rainbow background. I found some matching patterned paper for the base and machine stitched the rainbow cardstock plus the musical notes transparency onto the base. Behind the photo, I layered hand-dyed muslin and a doily!

On this tag, I added my handmade elements: a Flair from APOCD and of course..... a RAINBOW SPLENDOUR vellum bow....

I had been "saving" this Dear Lizzy title... so perfect for this page!

I loved layering staples and enamel dots, stickers and twine for this beautiful page!

Hope you can play along this month at SUYS.

Vellum Bows.... again!

Well, I say.. VELLUM BOWS- AGAIN!... but why not? They have quickly become the most versatile and necessary embellishments in my stash. And word is, Chloe has been making more for the NEXT SALE! YAY!

Here is a page I created, just because. Just because I can and plus I love yellow!

I used my WOW Lisa Oxley word stencil with white texture paste for this background. Then used a combination of water colour paints and some dylusions ink for the yellow/orange colour.

Some WOW wood chip circles. And a APOCD flair.

Flutterby Designs circles...

Flowers, buttons, enamel dots and washi scattered everywhere!

BUT don't miss the deliciousness that is this BEAUTIFUL yellow FLORAL BOW!
I simple love it.....

Thanks for looking! A
