NEW STRIPY BOWS

Were you lucky enough to get some of the stripy/ chevron or spotty bows in the last sale?

If so, here are some pages to inspire you to get them out and use them on a page this month!

I loved that the BLUE Stripy bows were such a perfect colour match for my layouts! Layered with leaves, resin, flowers and sequins!

Thanks for looking.

Bows.... old favourites always awesome!

I can never seem to have enough BOWS! Thanks to my good stash of Rainbow Splendour goodies, bows always seem to make it onto my pages!

Check this one out!

Messy background with inks and gelatos... but look how perfect that bow looks to finish the page!! These grey bows are such a versatile colour!

How are you using BOWS right now????!!!!!

PINWHEEL CRAZY!

Loved the NEW pinwheels from Rainbow Splendour this month - ones made from Felt and Fabric. Yum!

Created two layouts this month using them - happy to share them today!

I love how a neutral layout can have that pop of colour with a RS embellishment!

And they are perfect on bright layouts too!

All I can say is.... I hope Chloe makes more of these for us all!!!

Thanks for stopping by,
Amanda

Past Summer's

Good Morning how are you? Rikki here today, I am sharing with you a Summer inspired layout, and with the weather here over in the West to hit 32 (and its only Spring), I thought I would reflect on past Summer's, with Rainbow Splendour.

I have to admit I have been hoarding this particular Rainbow Splendour Pretty Pin, it was awaiting the perfect layout, and your just cant go past the red with the silver.

What do you think of the Vellum Bow? I love it!!!
Keep an eye out for these, they will be available the next sale.......

Also available in the next sale are the matching Vellum feathers.... I have heard talk about there being a Rainbow Splendour Vellum Sprinkles pack!!!!

I hope this has inspired you and dont you just love a sneak  peek of some new products? Till next time have a creative day.

Loving Layers

Good morning. Rikki here today. Spring is in the air finally!! and with that in mind today I thought I would share with you something with fresh colours and of course loads of Rainbow Splendour goodies. This layout that came together quite quick for a change and sometimes all you need is a new photo for some inspiration

I love layering, using up all my scrap pattern papers, for this I usually use staples and pins. The Rainbour Splendour Pretty Pins are perfect for holding a lot of layers together and they have great reach for lengthy layers.

Sometimes you need a contrast against a bold background, why dont you use a Rainbow Splendour Butterfly in plain white?

It wouldnt be my layout without a Rainbow Splendour Bow and remember I talked about clustering embellishments based on scale? in the last post, I have done it here again, its fail proof.

And last but least a close up of the Rainbow Splendour Pretty Pin.... I hope you managed to get some of the next designs at the last sale, they sold quick let me tell you.

Till next time have a creative day.

Rainbow Splendour and White with 1

Good Morning, Rikki here. Today I would love to share with you a piece that I did for White With 1. The Creative team was very lucky to receive Rainbow Splendour goodies to add onto there layouts.

If you missed  out on the last sale why dont you pop over to White With 1 and enter for the chance to win $20 worth of Rainbow Splendour goodies.

I am a huge fan of the white glitter Polaroid frames and if you where lucky in the last sale they where available in the Rainbow Splendour Sprinkles packs. I love them, they are so easy to cut, perfect for layering.

To revamp your Rainbow Splendour Bows why dont you add an enamel dot over the button for a custom look

Hope to see some of your entries over at White With 1 and hopefully we will have a Rainbow Splendour winner!!!  Till my next post, have a creative day.

Monochromatic Happy

Hi, Rikki here and today I thought I would share with you a layout that just makes me feel happy!!! Maybe because its a lovely yellow monochromatic layout that just works. And its a layout that is perfect to use the last of pp or kits if  you use them.

When I create these types of layouts I love to cluster all my handmade embellishments together and in some sort of scale to make it visually pleasing.

I am a huge fan of the Rainbow Splendour bows, and I am happy to say after the last sale my stash has been replenished.

Till my next post have creative day,

Sept/Oct Guest Designer inspiration

Hello FWAB fans!
We are very excited to welcome Judith Armstrong to our team for the next couple of months:

She has already been creating and has a gorgeous page to share:

Love the summery feel to her page!  And pink and yellow are such a fresh and bright colour combo!

She's used pink/yellow chevies...

pink and yellow pinwheels ...
a yellow polaroid frame ... (love the journaling on top!)

and a heart clip to match!  Love that she's put a fish on top to match the theme of the page!

Thanks so much for your first inspiring page, Judith!
