More corner rounding. Layering the PL cards can also be effective!

Scrapbooking with Project Life #2

Hi again,

Back again with my second scrapbook page, created with PL products. This one has some Kaisercraft "Captured Moments" cards (isn't it great that we have SO many choices for different pocket-album style cards!??!)

Page #2 : "Little Learner"

SUCH an easy layout! 4 cards, 2 photos. Layering embellishments on one card. Title housed on another! I completed this in under an hour! (why it was easy: all the colours coordinate in the card sets so there's no hunting for something to match!)

Here's a close up of that Rainbow Splendour cluster!

Felt Heart pin, foam star and feather.

So, have you tried it? I just love using these journaling cards on my layouts!

Thanks for looking!

Scrapbooking with Project Life #1

Hi everyone,

My turn to share at Rainbow Splendour this week!

So I hope that I am not alone in my love for Project Life (and similar) products.... But I also have to confess that I haven't actually done pocket album scrapbooking (yet!!!!). However, this does NOT stop me from buying all the colour-coordinated cards and alphas and stuff. Those cards make FABULOUS journaling spots! My pages to share this week are traditional scrapbook layouts, but use PL stuff!

Page #1: "Together"

You can see just how easy it is to create a background with PL cards. It is a good idea to use your corner rounder on other pieces of paper that you may use- this give a continuity to the design!

Here are some close ups of the RS goodies!

 Stacked felt circles!

 Always reliable felt leaf!

Foam camera, paired with a Pretty Pin!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Quick and Simple

Morning, today I thought I would do a quick share, this layout I have to say  was one of the quickest I had ever done, and I was using some left over papers on my desk at the time. So that got me to thinking maybe I need to use the leftovers while they are out rather than bin them or store them.

All this layout needed was a finishing touch, and thanks to Rainbow Splendour pin the layout was complete.

So it might not show that it is Project life  but its influence is there, its about getting your photos done and in albums so you an enjoy them.

All this layout needed was a finishing touch, and thanks to Rainbow Splendour's Pretty Pin, the layout was complete.

So I know its a short and sweet post but sometimes layouts just fall together quick and easy. Till next time enjoy your creating.

Project Life inspiration

Good Morning Rikki here with another Project Life inspired layout and this time I have used the 6 x4 journal cards as my background layers with of course some must have Rainbow Splendour goodies.

I love the Rainbow Splendour Pretty Pins and they work so great when your layering and stacking your pattern papers behind a photo.

Rainbow Splendour Butterflies are the perfect bit of bling when you need it, also when you receive your RBS Pretty Pins, remember to keep the tags that they are on you can easily use them as one of your layers on your layout.

Well till next time, enjoy your creating.

Project Life inspiration

Good Morning Rikki here with my first piece of inspiration for the month. this month We as a design team decided to give Project Life a go,but it isn't my thing and it has been a challenge but a welcomed one. There are soooooo many Project Life products out there and they are truly beautiful, so I wanted to do a traditional layout using Project Life products, and of course Rainbow Splendour is the perfect embellishment to go with this theme of the month.

When I do mixed media its all about anchoring your brights with blacks, well for me it is. The Rainbow Splendour Polaroid Frame is my go to item and lets face it there's nothing better than a bit of black glitter!!!!

Another thing I love to do is cluster my embellishments, hopefully you where all lucky to grab some for the Rainbow Splendour Pretty Pins I love the fact that you don't need to worry about adhesive just slide and your ready to go. Perfect if your teaming them with the RBS Butterfly and Black Feather.

The Rainbow Slpendour Polaroid Frame works so well with your other Project Life inspired pieces that you would have in your stash, like the Heidi Swapp Polaroid Frame.....

I hope this has inspired you to get scrapping, till next time, have a creative day......
